The Confused Straight Line

The title is kinda confusing, just like my tale, or is it just a simple story?

A person who seeks change but doesn't know the way, I am a learner and an aspirant but with confusions in my head. An enthusiastic gamer and a zeal to study and practise International Relation, in order to work for the people, also to become a diplomat to raise the notion of humanity in the world of politics. A farfetched dream yet it seems achievable in a way, to step into the world of politics and still have a vision of humanity. A boy, who was average, sometimes below average in academics, hates books, enjoys the virtual world, yet seeks to reach a goal so far that people don’t even think to achieve, well, that’s me.

Having said that, I am a person who started off as an introvert but currently am a public speaker working for various NGOs. People might believe that to be fake, but I assure you it’s true, a kid who wasn’t able to convey his feelings is now orating and teaching thousands of people. That dream doesn’t seem so farfetched now.

One might think that a person might be incapable of achieving certain feats in life, I say no, because, everyone of us is human and there are only a couple things which decide whether one succeeds or fails, those are determination and guts. An overly said statement but nonetheless true. So, one might say that s/he wants to go to the moon while some might want to just live a happy life, goals depend on perspective and choice, but to achieve them one must work with a focused mind and that is where we as humans lack sometimes. Even-though one might have a goal, we stumble and forget, where were we headed, is it the right path, should I go somewhere else? These questions raise self doubt.

One might say, we need guidance, help, support and that may help but at the end, we chose whether to walk, run, jump, not them, we are the ones who decide where we are heading, others just merely try to guide us through their experience. One must choose either to give up and stay confused, or to get up and pave the way to see that straight path towards the goal. I chose to get, yet I still get doubts but I always remember what I stand for and that is to create change, to work for the people in any way I can and to become the person who will make a difference in the global political system for the betterment of humanity…
